He then pursued a career in financial services with Goldman Sachs, Merrill Lynch and other companies, before starting his own financial firm. After growing the firm, he sold the company in 2014, and followed his dream of working in the aviation industry with the formation of Norcal Flight Center in 2015. His day to day activities are focused on the mechanical side of aviation, as he is responsible for maintaining the fleet, working on outside customer aircraft, as well as building United Magneto, Norcal's sister company specializing in magneto overhauls.
